Machine counter sunk the aft window and enlarged each hole to 5/32. I also experimented with ways of mounting the oil pressure sensor that will drive the mechanical hobbs meter.

Wow, its been a while since I posted anything new. I've been working on the canopy mostly, bits and pieces here and there. I removed and repainted the panel and roll bar... better primer. I spent the weekend doing that.....
Began fitting the aft canopy and installing the lugs. This ended up being a real pain. The canopy ended up being just a tiny bit too wide. It happened when the C-704 splice plate got drilled. Anyway, it took far longer than I thought but I eventually got there.
I pushed the RV-7 out the onto the drive way in order to turn it around. The canopy would not tip up because of the garage door rails. I then installed the canopy and the gas struts.
Worked on the plexiglass canopy. I required a lot of careful measuring and trimming. Mike Radomski dropped by to work on the engine hook up. Thanks Mike!
Worked on the canopy latch assembly, edge de-burred parts and fabricated the mounting angles.

I spent about an hour reading up on the canopy cutting. I did a small bit of prep on the plexiglass and Terry Daily helped me set it in place for the firest time. It was a Kodak moment.
